Anyone have experience with the best Airline prices out of IND? Visiting in Oct. for the first time in 5 years :cool1:

Any tips, thoughts would greatly help!

We bouht ours this morning on AirTran at $302 RT incl. tax. Southwest released their October fares this morning, so check there, too. The absolute cheapest I've found is American through Chicago at $251 RT.

Airtran is the only one I know of doing non-stops except for a single evening flight on SWA, so keep that in mind. I like using Hipmunk to sort by time, price, # of stops, etc.

We bought 1 way for $110 a few weeks ago. We are getting pricing of $160 for our return trip. All on AirTran with non-stop flights. We did one way because on the return we could fly from Tampa, Orlando or Daytona as we are taking a side trip too! This is for a June flight.

I would check into surrounding airports, Indy isn't as easy on the pocketbooks as it used to be. We usually use airtran.

We've flown SW out of INDY twice but not in the last few years because it has been closer & cheaper to fly out of Chicago on SW.
