Flights next April-May

Hi there everyone - wondering if I can get your thoughts re: some flights for next year.

I'm looking for flights for April 27th - May 11th. Both indirect and direct are fine, but the majority of our group would prefer direct

I've searched on Kayak, and the cheapest flight (out of both indirect and direct) is a direct codeshare with Iberia at £527. I did this exact same flight last year with Iberia/BA for £475 (oh inflation!).

So my question is this - I understand that's pretty good for direct Would indirect get much cheaper than that the closer we get to the time next year? Because I can't find any cheaper than £527 at the mo. Are there usually deals to be had with flights in April/May or do these begin to count as 'peak season'?

I don't see the £527 flights, cheapest it is showing me is £665.

Personally I would book direct at £527 and not look again, lowest I see is VA M&M is at £566.

Indirect always a chance of a deal but depends if you want to wait or get booked. Really there is no way of knowing what is best to do, gone are the days of predicting flight prices.

£527 (Iberia - non stop) is coming up on Kayak and Opodo for me.

Right, just need to convince the gang that we should book sooner rather than later at that price anything to add to my itinerary

I see them tonight, not showing last time I tried. Let me get to booking page no problem.
Opodo have an offer for Quidco on flights at 1.7% but I expect thats only on ticket price not the taxes, so it will be on £198pp
