Hi there everyone. Well we are all set for 2 weeks back "home" at the Villas at Wilderness Lodge and fly out from Manchester to Sanford saturday lunchtime. We fly out on flight TCX473K and I am trying to get at least some info as to potential delays etc. I can see from posts here that the Virgin flights into Orlando International are showing up routinely 4 - 6 hours late I think todays flight in is 6 hours or so late in but only 2 - 3 hours late scheduled to leave but wonder if any one has any info re flights into Sanford. I have to say 9 hours with my wonderful but demanding 2 year old son and 5 year old daughter will be difficult enough without a 6 hour delay before we get on! ( I apologise in advance if you happen to be seated next to us!)
Also does any one have any info on access into the lounges at Manchester I'm sure that my Platinum American Express card gets me access into certain lounges but not sure which- any ideas? (Ps its not as grand as it sounds infact I don't recall ever using it!!)
Thanks as always in advance for any help - ideas Regards Nigel

I dont know about the delays Im afriad, but I would also be very interested to know what lounges are available at Manchester.

Can anybody help??

I can't say about Manchester but have been watching the Gatwick flights, and I *think* it is the same plane, and these have all been on time.

As far as I am aware, some airport lounges don't allow young children.

From what I can see there are 3 lounges in T2 at Manchester (click on their names for direct links) - relevant content pasted below.

Escape at Manchester Airport
Designed to meet the needs of all our passengers Escape at Manchester Airport ensures you are surrounded by comfort with facilities and services to match. Separated into three zones there is also a separate smoking area and lift access is nearby. Children under the age of 8 yrs are only permitted by invitation of the airline and must be travelling first/business class tickets.

Air France/Delta Executive Lounge
This executive lounge is available to First, Business Class and high level card holding passengers of Air France, KLM, Alitalia, CSA and Delta flights. High level card holders of Korean, NorthWest and Aeromexico are also entitled to use the facilities. No mention of whether children are allowed.

Servisair Executive Lounge
This comfortable lounge is available to First/Business Class passengers of the following airlines by invitation and/or loyalty card: Cyprus Airways, SAS, Skyways, Swiss. The lounge is also open to holders of Diners Club, Priority Pass, Wexas and the Institute of Directors, or by invitation. The lounge is also open to passengers irrespective of class of travel. Passengers are advised to book in advance. Subject to availability and the appropriate fee, the facilities are also open to all passengers. Children are permitted to use the lounge but must be well behaved. This is currently a trial initiative.

Oh, and there is a £16.95 charge per-person!

Hope this helps.
