Hi,
I'm trying to help my sister find a good deal on a flight from Boston to Orlando in Sept. Anyone know of any good deals? Or better airlines? There are so many to keep checking! So far I'm seeing in the $200+ range. Some of the airlines seem to have a lot of layovers so the flights leave really early in the morning but don't arrive til mid-afternoon. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks!
chris

Check out Southwest. They don't fly out of Logan though. It would be Providence or Manchester NH.

The only direct flight from Logan to MCO are on Jet Blue and Delta. I think Air Tran may have 1 direct flight a day. Not sure about that.

Not sure when they start, but SWA is supposed to have BOS to MCO direct flights sometime this fall.

Thanks, I'll check out the ones that you mentioned! Southwest just started flying out of Logan. However, their flights are not direct and are rather long.

Check out Providence Airport (TFGREEN)- we are flying in Sept direct to MCO from there. I love flying out of TF Green. It is smaller and much easier to navigate and the parking is cheaper than Logan.

Southwest is starting service from Boston-Logan on August 16th. However, the only non-stop destinations on SWA from BOS is Baltimore (BWI) and Chicago Midway (MDW).

JetBlue is my airline of choice for flying nonstop out of Logan. Good flight times, several nonstops to choose from, very little changing of flights (happens rarely in my experience) and Sept should have some good fare sales very shortly.

Sign up for yapta or an airline's notification system. JB will send an email with upcoming sales. $200 rt pp is not a bad price. If you want better than that you may be out of luck unless some sort of sale comes along. As others have mentioned are you able to consider other airports? Manchester and Providence are options as well as the limited offerings from Worcester to Sanford. I have had great luck with JetBlue, they are priced reasonably most times, offer nonstop direct flights, have the inflight entertainment and a decent record of not changing flight times too much. Good luck.

Had to post when I saw your hometown (hi neighbor!) and you're going in Sept. We are heading down Sept. 17-22 - maybe we'll see ya there!!

Thanks for the help everyone! I'm going to check out yapta. I live in PA, so I'm not really very familiar with the airports of Boston. I asked my sister about it, and she wants to fly out of Logan because she can take the train there and not have to worry about parking.
