We are all booked up, flights with Virgin 28th Oct - 11th Nov 4 adults, 2 children £3,100 using M&M.

Now is the dilemma of where to stay! I want to stay on Disney just for the convenience; we have a disabled son and i find it easier to hop on the bus back to the room if needed. We dont spend much time in the room so not looking to spend ££££. We have stayed in Pop, All Stars, POR and OKW, all of which were fine ... are there any deals about?
Missed free dining promotion and although a new one has come out its a lot more money and i just cant justify paying that much extra when we dont eat a lot of food anyway.

We looked at the family suites in Music but there is no way i would be able to sleep on a put me up for a fortnight! The new hotel looks great but very expensive for a value!

What about Fort Wilderness? I thought that looked lovely - bit expensive though.:confused3

Hi your going to be limited where you stay as you will need a connecting room POR is a nice resort but I would prob suggest a value resort if your not at hotel often try disneys website for room only I do think it may of been cheaper as a package as there sales have started we used travel city direct and they use virgin and are cheaper than virgin site

Have you thought about renting DVC points?

You could get a 1 or 2 bedroom somewhere and not spend much more than you would for a hotel room. It'd certainly cost less than 2 mod rooms. X

It has never really appealed to me but i think the boys would love it but its coming up more than Animal Kingdom!?

I have just checked and they have an offer on, POP for £700 per room for 14 nights, dont think it gets much better than that ... thanks :goodvibes

This is an excellent idea ... never thought of that! I will have a read into it now :)

I booked two rooms at POR yesterday with Disney. (Flights already booked direct with Virgin)
One for 2 adults 7 nights with 14 day ultimate pass and free QSDP £1200 ish
One for 2 adults 6 nights with 21 day ultimate pass and free QSDP £1100 ish

I know this is still a lot of money, but less than I was expecting. First room is for parents and 2nd is for us - we then get another 15 nights at BCV. The whole trip is for our vow renewal - my sisters and their families are also coming, but they are paying for themselves :cool1:

We can do Pop at £50 per night or POR for £107 per night with free dining and $150 spending money ... Not going to rush as i want to make the right decision but i have stayed at both and prefer the theme of POP but much prefer the Food Court of POR :confused3
