We are staying at OKW 16th-30th August. Best deal for us so far has been a fly drive with TCD but we are going to hold out. We want direct flights also due to having 3 young children and all the baggage that comes with it. All the flights will be out soon :)

Thank you for the welcome. Yes flying from Glasgow going to stay night before in airport hotel and gain the free parking. Staying at the Blue Heron resort £558 for one bedroom suite for two weeks.

We are staying at OKW 16th-30th August.

We have just booked tonight and will be arriving OKW the day after you - 17th August - 04th September - so if you hear any broad Belfast accents just say hello !!

Now comes the nervous part on waiting for the flights to be released.

There is quite a few of us going around that time, perhaps we could all meet up!

Good luck with the flights, we have our fingers crossed! Last year we went in august with expedia at £1800 for 7 nights at POP WITH flights from MAN to MCO with Virgin for 2a 2c but think that was a price error ... heres hoping worth it just for the flights :worship:

Hi,

We are going next July for 3 weeks, managed to book a Thomsons/First Choice and got our flight for £514 Each from EMA to Sanford (i booked end of April)- There abit naughty *** they keep taking these flights off there site -(think they try and sell them with accom if poss)but id give them a ring - I was really pleased with my price.

I actually booked through Travel Republic -

Good Luck!!

Does anyone know when the flights will be released? My dates are 31st August to 17th Sept, staying at OKW!

I want to book OKW for next august but not all the flights are out for next year yet and i dont know how much they are likely to cost. The cheapest i can get at the moment is £3,000 for 2 adults, 2 children and an infant but was hoping to get it closer to £2000, am i dreaming? I have never booked separately before i normally book a package so no idea what to expect.

TIA :)

First Choice flights are out now for 2009, I've just done a quick search and found 4th Sept 09 - 25th Sept 2 Adults, 2 Children & infant £1982.00 flying from east midlands.

Obviously the dates aren't perfect but it's a great deal if you can swap your dates around.

Just booked with Continental for 9th - 29th August 2009. Not particularly cheap at £1398 for 2 adults, but we were hamstrung by flying on a Sunday due to a friends wedding and school hols (married to a teacher!).

However, the added bonus is that the outward flight is direct from Manchester with Virgin (return is via Newark with Continental). To book with Virgin would have been £1650 ish for the pair so saved £250 or so.

I've booked flydrives, next Easter, for Eve and myself through JetSave :)

It's not Aug but just a 'heads up' that they are Virgin flights, costing a little under £400 less than booking directly through Virgin :thumbsup2
