Flights are BOOKED--- FINALLY!!!

Okay, so we're only going Feb 28th 2010. BUT we're with the DVC and have had our ROOMS booked since last April. *and* we were booking our flights with points. Anyone who's done this doesn't need to be told that the earlier the better as you may not get the flights you want.

We're going in a big group ( 20 people!! ) and in the end, we've got a couple going with Air Canada via Aeroplan, some more going with Air Canada with CIBC Avantura points, and one group of four travelling down to Burlington and taking the plane from there with United. *gasp* !! Not always easy being the unofficial family travel agent ( well... when it comes to Disney anyway... ) ... Now... onto ADR's ... Oct 27th here I come...

WOW what a mix up that was to get everyone down south! Sounds like you did a great job though, as my hubby says, who cares how you get there and where you eat -- you're in DISNEY!. Good luck with the ADR's i think you should be ok now that things have gone back to 180 days, most folks can't pin themselves down that far out

I know how you feel...well, to some degree anyway. We are only a group of 5, but no one wants to know the details until they want to know the details...then they ask why I did what I did..!!

Anyway, two are booked on United using aeroplan miles. I have been waiting out the prices on the other 3 tickets. However, we fly down in January, and back in February. January prices dropped a while ago, but February prices have held solid. Naturally, I was greedy and didn't book with only one half of the flight on sale, now January prices appear to be rising again. So at this point, I don't know whether to just bite the bullet and book, or wait it out some more. Add to that the fact that the 3 of us may fly another airline if the price is right, and I think I've had just about enough of this playing at "travel agent". I'm now beginning to appreciate the work they do!
