Flight times changed after booking

Never had this issue before but then again I have never booked 6 months out.

Still got 2 1/2 months to go so who knows it may change back but I am curios.

Originally we left at 545 am and hit MCO at 416

Looked at my tickets again and we now leave at 540am and land at MCO at 336.

Just wondering if this is normal

Yes - airlines routinely adjust their schedules seasonally.

I am frequent flyer on United. Happens almost the time. Once for a cruise our return flight was changed from 2 pm to 12.,.left me a little nervous. You can try to change if you catch it right away but it isn't easy. Usually it isn't hours but minutes

It's leaving 5 min earlier but arriving 40 minutes earlier? Is there a connection that changed?

Connection has been shortened to make this time work.

Biggest hurdle which I'll address a month prior is our rental car. Booked it for 30 minutes after we landed so now with landing 40 minutes earlier its not a 70 minute difference. Don't think it will be an issue but we are a party of 6 and can only use a mini van.

Also, be sure you have any pre-selected seating still assigned.

All seats stayed the same. Don't think that will be an issue as we are taking 4 kids. I don't mind if they seat them next to somebody else

Don't think it would last very long.

A change from 2 pm to 12 is quite large and the airline should be gracious about changing it to a flight you hand picked, with no added charge, assuming the new flight is not sold out.

I was able to change my flight completely as Spirit (come on all you Spirit bashers, where are you? ) changed our flight from 6AM to 5:47 PM. I can't drive in the dark, especially when I'm not familiar with the roads, so I changed the flight to land at a different airport but still in the early morning. We were renting a car anyway, and it was about a 2 hour drive but that wasn't an issue for us (we were visiting my mom).

JetBlue has moved our flight times - Check your airline one week before and at least 24 hours before your flight for your flight # and time of departure.
Do this on your way home from WDW too.

You can give your airline your cell # and I think they can text you any changes to your flights.
