Flight ressies thru Disney ?

What is the experience of other travellers ...Book flight reservations thru Disney or do it myself. I'm used to doing it myself but was wondering if it is cheaper thru Disney or maybe Expedia ? How far in advance does Disney make reservations...I already have reservations for POFQ for the end of October and flights on Expedia are not availabe yet and Disney says try back later. any opinions would be appreciated.

IMO-- I would book hotel through Disney and flights through the airline carrier. It may be more to keep up with two sets of information, but if for any reason rates change or flights change then you can call the carrier directly.

I would keep them seperated if it was me. I much prefer calling the airline, when it's possible, to get a credit when airfare drops and so on.
