Am confused. Last week I found prices if 535 to 550 for flight to Orlando next September. Less than a week later they are around 650. Really frustrated didn't book. How can they change by so much ?

It happens all the time.

For our dates next sept (2 people) PE has gone from £3,600 to £2,400 to £1,800 to £2,200.

Best thing you can do is book when it's a price within budget unless you're prepared to take the chance of it going down or up significantly!

Unfortunately yes :(

Book when you see a price you are happy with and don't look again ;)

I should of known. We normally just fly virgin mikes plus money. Next May
We are miles and tax. Thought we would look on these random site. Sky scanner
And jet cost. Does any one know of any other ?

Skyscanner searches flights but you will be redirected when it's time to book so just check out who it's with and make sure you're happy. Kayak does the same. Netflights, eBookers and Expedia are a little different and your booking is actually made with them.

Never heard of jetcost

I tend to steer clear of unknown companies for flights

Travel Supermarket might be a good bet as you can search from up to three airports in one go. I also check the operators own website.

Oh, and clear your cookies before searching again!

Keep checking!, I noticed when booking my last trip using one of these sites that prices were going up at the weekends and down again by midweek.

Been using Jetcost a year or so, they are just another comparison site, you don't actually book with them.

I have just been educated :)

I missed that one then, when doing all my enthusiastic searches

Another search engine that seems popular now but I have never used www.momondo.co.uk

I saw that when I was looking and they seem to have a price promise that if the cost of your flight drops after booking, they will refund the difference. I haven't been back to check but this was the advertised policy a few months ago
