Hello

I am trying to price up for next August (around Friday 4th for two weeks).

I have got a price for £5500 which is six adults and two children.

For all you experts out there, is this a reasonable price?

Also where do you normally price compare, or do you know which websites to use and check each one individually??

Depending if you want direct or indirect.
For your party I would set a max(hope for cheaper) of £4500 for Direct and £3,000 Indirect but its way too far out to know how pricing is going to be for next August, flight only will not be available until 11 months from your return date, so around mid Sept.
This August flights have been available direct for about £330 or indirect £300 but these prices are never around for long. We were fortunate to get business class indirect going out 6th August for £465pp.

When they do release them 3 good sites are
Kayak.co.uk
Travelsupermarket.com
kelkoo.co.uk

FC and TC have their flights out for next August, so I assume you mean like Virgin or BA????? Would def do direct as first time in orlando for a very long time and just want to make life as simple as can this time !

Never been with charter, always use scheduled carriers, mainly because we don't go for the standard 14 nights, like this next trip its 25 nights. Also watch for your luggage, some of the charters only allow 15kg, then its as much as $20/kg for any over your limit so a 15kg case would be $300 to get home.
Charters available now but for scheduled its from Sept.

Thank you.
So when you say charter, do you mean just virgin? (you can tell i have not got a clue)!!

Charter are your standard (usually 14 night) flights TC, FC, Thomsons etc. 15-20kg luggage if you are lucky, friend of mine booked and got no allowance had to pay for luggage ontop of fare. Pay for drinks, food. fly into Sanford
Scheduled go for any amount of days usually 46kg included as well as most drinks and food. fly into Orlando Int.

One thing is the charter go into Sanford so after the long flight, you then have to drive or get a coach to Orlando which adds maybe another 2hrs onto your journey.

Also as previously said, luggage is the big issue.

travelsupermarket.com was good for comparing flights. If you are on more of a budget, maybe look at US Airways? We are flying with them and while they may not be the best (labelled the US version of Ryanair, take from that what you will) they have cheap fares.
