Flight just changed! FP question

United just informed me that our flight home in Sept. is now leaving at 4:40p instead of 7:40p -very bummed as it changes our Sunday plan but at least we haven't done Fps yet so here's my question:

If we do 3FPs at HS EMH can I do 8:10, 9:10, and 10:10 and then I have from 8:10 to 9:10 to do the first one? I'm blanking on the hour window. Is it one hour from the time of the FP to hit the ride? I'm thinking we can get HS done 8a-1p on Sunday. We will see the nighttime show earlier in the trip but plan on spending our last day doing the rides.

It's a 1-hour window. You'd have from 8:10-9:10 am to use the first FP+.

You cannot, however, book FP+ for EMH. So, if DHS is opening to the public at 9 am, your first FP+ slot would be 9-10 am.

You can actually make them even closer. Say you book Toy Story 9 to 10, then ToT 10 to 11, then Star Tours 11 to 12. You scan your Toy Story FP at 9:00. You can then go into your phone and see if there are any ToT before 10:00. If so, you can move it up. Then you can go in and see if there are Star Tours earlier. That way you can get more fastpasses into your day.

Go to United's site. Check out other flights that day that might work. If you find any, call United and tell them that you don't agree to the reschedule, and you need to be put on another flight. That's a big enough change that they will allow this. (They will also allow a fee-free cancellation in such a circumstance, but only do that if there are flights on another airline that are reasonable enough.)

If you're taking ME to the airport, your bus will LEAVE your resort at 1:40, and you are supposed to be there no later than 1:25. I would not be leaving HS at 1 pm unless I was willing to take a cab to the airport. They will not wait on you.

There are 5 rides in Hollywood studios. On an EMH morning day, you can get those done in 5 hours without fastpasses. Personally, I'd do Star Tours, then Rockin Roller Coaster then Great Movie Ride, fast pass for toy story (9-10), fast pass for tower of terror (10-11). I'd be done by 10:15.

Great Movie Ride is not open for AM EMH.

But, if you do a couple of rides from 8-9, do GMR right at 9, and have FPs for TSMM from 9-10 and Star Tours from 10-11 you should be able to do all 5 before 10:30 and maybe have time for second rides on a couple before noon.

Because we use the single rider line at RNRC we go to TSMM at opening, then RNRC, TOT, GMR, and ST and can be done with all by 10 without using a FP.

If ur trying to squeeze in park time on ur departure day, I'd uber or cab it or private car mears to airport.
The amt of wasted time on the dme ( to pick and drop off others) eats up lots of time, unless u feel safe that way n enjoy the disney wind down.?.

Depending on when OP is going, Great Movie Ride may not be open at all as it is supposed to close some time in September.

United changed our flight time and we were able to switch to any flight any day free of charge. We actually added a day because of this. They even upgraded our seats as well. That is a big time difference they changed for you I would give them a call and see fi anything fits your schedule it can not hurt

Yes! United changed our flight to Disney by a few hours, I called, had the flight changed to the late evening a day earlier, and got upgraded to Economy Plus.

Thanks so much! I had forgot about FPs during EMH. We are staying at BW so we will be back for ME in time if we use it. I checked United and there is no later flight but I will continue to watch. Thinking now we might just Uber to MCO. We have always rented a car and I thought I'd try ME this time.
