flight experts feb half term

hi every one

we are looking at going feb half term we are going to ask the school if we can take our ds out for 2 days either side first. Best price i can find is with virgin at £327 each although if we book with expedia we can get a £50 duty free voucher. we are not adverse to doing non direct if the price is cheaper I have been looking but cant find anything cheaper.

I think the days of direct flights under £327 are more or less gone even offpeak, for a school hol I would have it booked.

as son is in gcse year I really need authorisation first so fingers crossed.

on florida owners website some people had booked flights via expedia australia website for £170 indirect with nwa but these have now gone.

I saw on another forum when people were booking but I couldn't find any so low. Going Oct half term with NWA for £241 but I would rather go direct at £327, not a chance for Oct though Virgin wanted almost £900 when I checked.
