Flight Confirmation #?

I need help please!
I'm a first time Disney Worlder and my trip is next week(so excited). I received my packet in the mail today with my resort ticket and reservations, but nothing pertaining to my flight (which I booked through Disney). I called the nice folks at Disney and they gave me the PNR number for my flight on United Airlines, but no confirmation number. When I go to the website to try to look at my flight/pick my seat it doesn't give me the option of putting in a PNR. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help is greatly appreciated

Just call United. They should be able to look up your confirmation number.

In the future, don't wait until the week before your flight to select seats (unless you just booked). Your selection is likely to be very limited.

Call Disney and ask for the RECORD LOCATOR for your flight.

The PNR number is often a number given by whichever GDS system Disney uses (GDS is the acronym for the computer system that processes airline tickets for travel agents).

Airlines tend to use the term PNR and Record Locator synonymously, although sometimes there can be two different codes if your ticket is issued by one airline but operated by another.

It's a six character code. Usually everyone in a family traveling together is under the same PNR, and a single PNR includes every flight segment in the roundtrip itinerary.

You should be able to pull up your United Airlines reservation at United.com as long as you have the PNR, travel date, and flight number, along with your last name. You can look at seat assignments while you're in there.

You can also print out your flight details, but you don't need to present a printout at the United Airlines counter, just your drivers licenses or other approved government-issued IDs.
