Flight after cruise at noon with JetBlue

I've read the recent post about being at MCO at least 3 hours prior to a flight with JetBlue, due to the construction. Our flight is leaving at 11:57am and we currently have a Disney transfer booked to take us to MCO after our cruise. I'm now worried that this won't get us there in time. I've heard that the first bus doesn't leave for the airport until around 9am. Anyone have any recent experience with Disney transfers and flying JetBlue who could share their experience with timing? Should I be canceling the Disney transfer and arranging some other form of early transportation. Our cruise isn't until November, but I'd prefer to cancel the transfer prior to making my final payment. It's just 2 adults, so we don't have to worry about kids to deal with. Thanks!

One suggestion to help with the speed at the airport is upgrade your JetBlue flight to extra space, this also gives you access to the Extra Speed security line. It cuts down on time tremendously. I know for my flights out of BWI to MCO it only costs an extra $35.

We flew out via Jet Blue at 11:50am after our DCL cruise this past December. We also used the DCL transfer bus, which we didn't go to until after our 2nd seating breakfast in the MDR. And we still waited around for about 2 hours for our (on time) plane. Keep in mind that we have TSA Pre-Check, but we would have been fine even without it.

I agree with a PP that if you don't have Pre-Check you should get Jet Blue's Even More Speed upgrade just to be safe. Also, I recommend using DCL's check-in service for the return flight, so that you won't have to check in for your flight or check your bags the morning of debarkation (we used that service, too, and it's great to not have that hassle on debarkation day). Other than that, book the flight & chill. Noon is the perfect time to fly out after a cruise, imo.

As an aside, if you fly once a year or more, I recommend getting TSA Pre-Check. $85 to avoid 5 years' worth of airline security hassles is a bargain in my book.

I believe Disney transfers to the airport start departing soon after disembarkation (730-800am) and they leave as they fill. Buses to WDW don't leave until 9am. It's been a few years, but I took a DCL bus to the airport and we left soon after we boarded the bus. I believe JetBlue participates in the Onboard Airline Check-in with DCL and it is worth taking a Disney bus just for that. They take your bags (the last night of the cruise) and check them all the way through to your final destination and give you a boarding pass. Your experience at the airport should only be the security line, which can be long but making a noon flight is absolutely no problem.

We usually take a JetBlue flight around noon, and we've never had an issue. But we leave the ship by 7:15 usually. Of course, we often sit as we wait for the bus to fill up, but we have plenty of time. JetBlue has the check in feature on the ship, but you have to have pre-paid check bags. Otherwise, take them with you. You shouldn't have a problem.

I think you'll make it also. But I would not take the bus. I like the control of,private transportation, which might also be more affordable. I'd check private car, taxi, Uber, etc.
