Flight advice appreciated....

so traveling from Southern California to Orlando at the end of April.....found airfare for the 4 of us for a total of $1486.00 through Jet Blue. Southwest flights aren't released yet of course. I have no idea what southwest even runs from the west coast. I don't usually shop for airfare. First family trip to the world. Is the Jet Blue price good or should I keep waiting? Our trip is about 9 months away. Thanks!

I picked random dates in October and got $160 each way for a total for 4 of $1262, so I'd probably wait.
