I am going to buy a Mickey or Princess tote bag and fill it with bits for the flight to keep DD entertained. Was going to pop it on her seat as a surprise when we get on the plane.

So far to put in it I have:

Disney Princess colouring book & crayons
Tinkerbell tin with sweeties

I am also going to go to Tesco and get the Disney themed kids snack packs to go in.

Any other suggestions? The cheaper the better! LOL!

If you go to disney.co.uk you can find lots of printable pages of pretty much every Disney character there is! Other than that I would recommend a sticker book for take-off/landing or a new book: this always kept DD busy and her mind off the fact that she was strapped in and couldn't move!
Aquadoodle mats are great, as are Crayola Color Wonder as the pens won't mark anything except the paper.
Finger puppets were great as DD loved chatting to them, as were pipe cleaners or Bendaroos for making silly glasses.
Sometimes I would buy DD a new inexpensive small doll like those baby Barbies but smaller which DD liked.
More expensive options include a leappad, Innotab, or portable DVD player: all great but pricey!

I have bought DD bits to keep her bust during our flight I bought

Colouring pages with crayons etc
A book with the musical buttons £2 asda
Surprise princess egg (inc sweet, toy and sticker) £1 asda
Music wand £1 entertainer toy shop
Princess toy phone £4 Disney store
Princess sweets chocolates £2 asda
Hair clips hair bands £3 asda

Xxx

The dress up books (the ones where you pop out the clothes and they have tabs which you use to fix on the paper dollies), have always been a hit with DD1. She wasn't much older than your DD the first time we went and it kept her amused for ages.

Also are there any comics she likes - Disney Junior one maybe? Especially if it has a decent free gift! :goodvibes

If you have anything battery operated like an Innotab they are useful. Just take enough batteries as I believe batteries are a fortune in DLRP if you have to replace them for the journey back!

We have an Innotab and a kiddiezoom camera (Xmas presents) which have games on - both will hopefully keep my two amused for a while on the flight - although they will probably fight over who gets what! :sad2:

Sticker books have always gone down well with my dds. How about some little bits of play jewellery too? or some cards, my youngest has a set of in the night garden cards that she will spend ages looking at.

Thanks - fab ideas!

I actually bought one of those eggs today Tinks!
DLPDreams - love the idea of the dress up book - will see if I can find one. And will get her a Princess magazine, she is loving the free gifts!
SarahC / JothP - have seen a DP sticker book at the £1 shop - will get one of those!

Thanks guys!
