Can anyone give me suggestion that will help with ear pain while landing? My DD7 always has problems with this either going or coming home.(sometimes both) I'm not sure if their is something that I could do before hand to help with this. We leave in two weeks.

I don't usually have too much trouble, but on one flight I ended up with piercing pain in my ear ... it was so bad that the flight attendant talking to my dh noticed the look on my face and asked my dh if I was okay. I told him what was happening and he immediately went to the galley and brought me a new bottle of decongestant nasal spray. I used it and after only a moment or two my ear was okay. He said that if you ever experience problems, use a decongestant ... I bought one specifically for our trip on Wednesday to prevent any potential problems. I would think they make them for kiddos, too. :)

*decongestant is key!*

We had this problem on our last trip but the *sick baby* was my DH! We have now been advised to start taking a decongestant 48 hours prior to and up to your flight. (I am going to also bring the nasal spray this time).
