YES! I remember you. You must have purchased a bunch to get the $96 per point. Smart move to go with BLT. I hope you broke the package up into smaller portions incase you decide to sell some in the future. For my 100 points I broke it up into 65 and 35 contracts. That makes it more valuable on the resale market.
PS: What did you mean by matched '09 points. I am getting points in 2009, but nothing more than that.
Keith M.
Hey Keith...Well, first, yes, I did break up my points into 3 smaller contracts. My guide suggested it actually, as I never would have thought they would let me do that. I was able to get the $16 off with 240 points. It was anything over 236 to get to that incentive level. They draw the chart up deceptively to make it look like you need to buy 270+ but I noticed a line after the 235 level and asked my guide, "what if I buy 236 pts.?" and he told me that is the minimum you could buy to receive the $16 rebate. They didn't offer that info though.
I did 240 pts. so I could split it into 3 80-point contracts. We have 3 kids so will need a 1-BR at the minimum and I figured 240 would be a good number to start with. Plus I can pass along the smaller contract to each kid under my estate, if it comes to that.
My guide explained the 2009 points as matching the points that are starting in 2010. That may have been a clever sales tactic, b/c I was thinking that they were giving me something when in reality I guess I'm just getting what I'm paying for. But I don't have to pay all the '09 dues....just a pro-rated portion for 3 months of membership. I don't know, it was all kind of a blur after a certain point. I was thinking of it as like, developer points but I guess it's not that at all!
But anyway, I'm glad to have "met" you here as well as at Doorway to Dreams.
Talk to you later!
