I didn't go to WDW. but I did fly out of Midway Airport in Chicago on Saturday, and just returned from Arizona today. Saturday we arrived at the airport 2 hours ahead - we were a little nervous when we first saw the check in line, because it seemed to go on forever! A lot of people were still trying to get home. Southwest Airlines did a great job checking everybody in however and we only spent one hour getting through the line. They went thru a lot of the luggage that was being checked. Came home from Phoenix today; got to the airport 2 hours early again - there was absolutely no one in line, and only about 50 people on the plane. It saddens me that so many people have cancelled their plans - I was nervous, but will continue to fly. The security was very evident, and there was no fooling around. Hopefully, the American people will slowly place their faith in God and resume normal activities.

I am glad that everything went smoothly for you on your flights.

I don't think that people have lost faith in God, but have lost faith in airport security.

Glad to hear you had a safe flight. We are still planning to go to DIS-CON in Nov., and will be flying. We did drive home from WDW last week, though, and it was a good idea since Midway Airlines, our carrier, was shut down! I, for one, welcome the additional security. :)
