Hi, all,

Has anyone used Fleetwood Transportation? We have used Cartier and Tiffany in the past and been happy with them, but the Shades of Green website "recommends" Fleetwood (it is the company that they have contracted with to provide guest transportation around WDW), so I thought I would give them a call for a quote. They are quite a bit cheaper than the others. We need transportation from MCO-SOG, then SOG-Universal, then Universal-MCO, and Fleetwood quoted $137 total. Of course, all this is dependent on my dh agreeing to fly instead of drive...wish me luck! :)

If anyone has experience with Fleetwood, I'd appreciate any input! Thanks ~ Sue

I don't understand. I thought once you made it to Shades of Green the rest of the travel is free (like to Universal and all the other disney places). Also do you know what kind of vehicles Fleetwood uses? We are going to stay in Shades of Green end of April til early May. I'm trying to avoid the costs of renting a vehicle (most are $200 and up for our family size). I saw something about a towncar service in a different post for $90 round trip.

Okay, I think you are a little confused. You ask about "Universal and all the other disney places"...Universal is NOT a Disney place! The only transportation to and from SoG that is free is within WDW property -- the four parks, water parks, Downtown Disney, other WDW resorts, etc. I have also seen around $90 round trip, but that is from the airport to a resort and back to the airport. We need that middle trip from SoG to Universal, as well. That's why I think $137 is a good deal. I do not know yet what kind of vehicles Fleetwood uses; I'll find that out when I call again (it does bug me that they don't have a website), but I was just wondering if anyone had used them. To be honest, the employee I spoke to at Fleetwood about the rates had such a strong accent I had a great deal of trouble understanding him, so I did not ask too many questions. I'll post again if I get more info. Sue

Oh okay! As you can see I still have a lot to learn! :rotfl: We have been to Disney one time before for two days and we only got to go to Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. I don't have a clue about the other stuff yet but I'm slowly learning thanks to this board.

You should do a search on this site for Fleetwood. There were only a couple of reviews but the ones I read were not good. One said the drivers were not very good. Then another one said they don't keep their buses and shuttles maintained the way that Disney does. The poster said they run theirs into the ground. Soooooo I think I'm going to stick to the towncar service. I guess SOG recommends them because they are not as expensive as the others.
