Wow, that's a big ditch. Wonder what that's all about? Maybe they're adding on to the underground network?
Could you tell if they were building new Dumbo spinners or could you only see the building structure?

If I had to guess the ditch is either drainage or the foundations of the mine coaster.

This is what the ditch is

That's actually the water feature that BatB's area has bridges over. Almost directly to the left will be another bridge and water feature that leads to the "provincial town" of Belle and adjacent to that is where there the Dwarf Mine begins.

Note the large concrete column coming out of the hole - to hold up the bridge. Also the small trough at the bottom is likely to run utilities and cables.

But nope, no mine train building yet. Just finishing Belle's area.

I was at WDW last week and when I looked at B&B castle I thought the perspective looked weird. I'm probably wrong, but the top spire looked really small.

That's because it IS really small. I've said it before, but they're really trying to force a lot of perspective on this one. Maybe it'll work when all the rockwork is done, but I'm having a hard time suspending disbelief on this one so far.

If Anyone has been go EuroDisney, I think B&B castle is going to look like the one on the storybook train ride.
