i have a question for you georgia people.

do you normally drive or fly ? last time we drove and we made it in 5 1/2 hours. But we did only 2 very fast stops and we ate in the car.

how much do you normally pay for a plane ticket ? or do you think it would still be worth it just to drive ?

Where in GA are you? I used to live in Calhoun.

If it's a 5 1/2 hour drive, I would choose driving over flying. I don't think it would be very much faster to fly.

Flight time -- 1.5 hours direct from ATL to MCO
Driving to airport from home -- 1 hour (I remember Atlanta traffic very well)
Time in airport before flight -- 1.5 hours on average, including baggage check and security
Time from airport to hotel -- 1 hour, including baggage pickup and either getting rental car, grocery stop with town car, or waiting for ME to depart

That's 5 hours right there. I may be overestimating on some of the times, though.

I would much rather drive to WDW than get Flayed :rotfl:

Sorry, couldn't resist...

depends on who is doing the flaying and with what...

ok i'll shut up now.

I think it depends on how many people (tickets you have to buy) are going, the price of gas, the price of tickets and how much is about 5 hours of your time worth (5 1/2 hr drive - aprox 1 hr flight - 2 hrs airport x2).

lol you guys are so funny

If I only had a 5 1/2 hour drive there would be no question for me - I would definitely drive.
