Flattened Pennies

Does anyone else collect those flattened pennies with the pictures on them? Where can i find them in the parks - like, are there any good ones in hidden places??? Thanks.

Do a search on AllEarsNet and they have listing of all the locations. They're pretty easy to find once you get there though. My DS7 loved these. We brought a roll of quarters & pennies in old film canisters with us to the parks.

My DH collects them. They are all over the place. His favorites are the ones in EPCOT's World Showcase. There is a different machine for each country. THey are a great way to remember your trip!

If you go to guest relations at each park, they can give you a guide that has all the locations. Don't forget resorts also have them too.

Another tip for pressed pennies: use an empty film canister to store your quarters & pennies. Put them in 2 qtrs, 1 penny, 2 qtrs, 1 penny, etc - that way when you need it, you won't be digging thru your whole stash to get the right amount.

Don't forget there's also pressed quarters. These are $1.25 - 4 qtrs and 1 to press.

You can buy a book to hold them at the gift shops. I believe they're about $6.

My DS8 had a blast with those pennies! I think the book to put them in was about $6.50.

Most of the shops around WDW have the machines in them - usually near the doors or in a corner. There are a couple machines at Pop between the shop and the food court, and there are some at the Contemporary as you go to the monorail from Chef Mickey's. But beware of the change machine at the Contemporary - it eats money!

We kept our pennies in a film canister and our quarters in a mini M&M container. Of course we had to buy the mini M&M's at MGM for $1.25 so you might want to pick some up before you leave home.

We collected over 300 different pennies on our Dec. trip. I wish I'd had this updated list then.

Yes, I love them!! DH started "collecting" them for me on our first trip together and slips them in my hand as a little surprise....it's a really fun and cute thing to look forward to.....he told me the other night he was shining the pennies he was bringing along for our trip that starts TOMORROW so they would look nice when pressed

We got them from every country in World Showcase, but stopped there. I bought a mat to glue them to and put a picture in, but I never got around to that..

We live in Canada and I am wondering if the machines take canadian coins or will I have to find US coins once I get there. I like the idea of getting a roll or two of quarters before I get there. But I don't think we can get coins at the bank.??
