My sons were driving my mustang and got a flat. Not a surprise. I had just mentioned to dh that I think that one tire is losing air that morning. But two problems. Son drove it home on flat 3 blocks on expensive rims. Aargh, he's lucky it doesn't look bent.
Oh and they have a size tire that nobody keeps in stock. It has to be ordered almost everywhere. And tomorrow is the holiday. And dh has been telling me we have a full sized spare but surprise, I have a donut. First of all it looks ridiculous. Second I have to go to my sisters on Christmas 21/2 hr drive each way. Can't do that on a donut. So dh is hoping a local junk yard will be open tomorrow and he can buy a used tire. Then he's hoping that he can find somebody to pay to put it on.
Plus, the twins are getting their wisdom teeth out today and I have to get some stocking items and pick up an ordered gift. Aargh.
