My box weighed in at 9 lbs. 4 oz.

Mine officially went out today!! It wasn't very heavy because I didn't understand .....but now I do!! No matter what you put into it, even bricks, it only costs a fixed amount.

I agree the agent at the Post Office told me that I saved about $3.60 by using a flat rate box.

I think mine would have been around $25!! It doesn't take much...about 2 pounds, for it to be better for me to use a flat rate.....since most of the ones I send go to the east coast.
