Flat Iron

I just bought a new Corioliss flat iron, and it works great. I had been using the Chi flat iron, and didn't like the results. My hair was looking frizzy and it wasn't straightening it that well. They had a kiosk demo booth in the mall, and when the girl tried it on my hair I was amazed at how smooth and silky and straight it became. So, I bought it and so far it seems to be good. I don't know what the difference in the design is between this and the Chi that would cause it to have so much better results. Does anyone use this brand?

I've used quite a few - not the one you just bought however - and I LOVE my Chi. I'm surprised you've had problems with it. My friends who have it swear by it as I do.

I just got my CHI a few weeks ago. I have to say I don't love it. It's good. It's better than my old iron. But it's not fabulous. The CHI hair dryer that I also got IS fabulous! But you know, I got my haircut yesterday, so that might help. It could have just been the condition of my hair.

Did you buy the one you can use on wet hair too? Or did you buy the one for dry hair only?

I was looking around on a website about flat irons and they said Corioliss flat irons have tourmaline straightening plates and the chi has ceramic. Maybe that is it? I too don't think the chi is all that. Next time I go to the mall I'll check them out.
