Flame tree?

We always either eat at Tusker house or leave the park at lunch time. With all the talk on Flame Tree I think we have to try it this time. So what's good and is there any secret seating area? The one out front always seems packed. Now we are going in July so while a slab of ribs sounds great ..in the heat of the summer I am thinking maybe not. So what should we eat!?

We usually head up and towards the back, but it's still usually pretty full. So we sit wherever we find a seat. I personally love the ribs and DBF likes the shredded BBQ meat. Yum!

I absolutely loved the pulled pork sandwich. very very good. DH loved the ribs. there is a "hidden" seating area down by the water. instead of walking towards the left pathway...you walk towards the right. it's been a while, but that's what i remember. DH & I sat there last year and there were plenty of tables open. you can see everest from that area. Sorry, i am really bad at giving driving directions too... hopefully someone else can give you better directions to that area...

Pulled pork sandwich at Flame Tree is fabulous!

As for seating, there is lots of it further down by the water. Just keep walking through the crowded seating areas and something will definitely open up.

GREAT directions. I couldn't have said better. We love sitting back there. Ducks come to visit and it's really quiet. They have napkins, sauces, etc. back there so you don't have to worry about fighting the crowds near the CS station.

Flame Tree is our favorite at AK. We usually get the chicken but I think I will try the pork sandwich this time based on these reviews. I agree, the seating by the water is great. Last year we timed it just right and the boat with characters came by. They must have circled around about 3-4 times, the kids loved it. I don't remember what time of day it was but it was a late lunch best I remember. Maybe there are times posted and you could see it too. It was a fun lunch!
