Flame Tree BBQ closed - now where?

So I had my heart set on having lunch at Flame Tree Barbaque, only to get an e-mail this morning annoucing the closure will extend past our trip. Originally it was going to re-open the day before (or the day of) we visited AK.

So... where's another good CS place to eat in AK? Any suggestions?

Pizzafari isn't too shabby, although we do prefer Flame Tree. The counter service Mongolian place on the path towards Everest from the safari area is pretty good as well.

Stitch Kingdom's e-mail this morning says it will now be closed 08/08/10 - 09/24/10.

Originally it would have re-opened on the 20th - our AK day. We depart on the 23rd.

That's getting a little too close for comfort. . .we arrive on the 23rd and are planning AK on the 25th. Any information on why it was extended?

Pizzafari..it's nothing spectacular, but it isn't bad. They have a good hot italian sandwich there.

Thanks, I will check out the menu for those places!

I'm afraid the e-mail didn't say why the extension for the closure. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will go back to the original re-open date.

UPDATED - Yak & Yeti it is! The menu sounds delicious!
