Flame Barge Returns to IllumiNations

Down for rehab the past few weeks, the Flame Barge returned on Monday evening (3/9/09). Saw the performance last night, really didn't notice anything different, I realize the rehab was mostly for routine maintenance and not any real enhancement.

Hi...honestly, I thought it was throwing out a lot more fire than before...kind of like they cleaned out the corrosion and opened the pipes!!

I agree! In addition to the big flame it gives off, it seemed to be further giving off flame in rhythm to the music!

Yeah, I saw it again last night and I would agree that the fire is more intense. But, I wanted to point out that they really didn't change the flame barge part of the presentation.

When we went last September it was gone for rehab- had they brought it back since then and then taken it out again for another rehab?

We went in February and illuminations wasnt the same without the flame barge

Yes, that is true, it leaves a void in the show, but rehab and maintenance is necessary. I am sure the Magic Kingdom will not be the same to most with Space Mountain being down most of this summer.
