Flag Day Recipes

Happy Flag Day!! DS and I are trying to find a good, fun and EASY flag day treat to make today. We have red, white & blue M&M's. Any thoughts? We looked on the M&M's website but didn't see anything of interest.

You could do a cookie or brownie pizza and then decorate the top with drizzled melted chocolate and/or white chocolate, nuts and decorate with your M&Ms. Or you could do M&M cookies (I just do them like regular chocolate chip cookies substituting a bag of M&M's for the chocolate chips) Or maybe do like some kind of layered pudding/parfait dessert in parfait glasses using the M&Ms.

This doesnt involve m&ms, but how about one of those flag cakes. You bake a rectangular yellow cake and top it with cool whip. Up in the top left corner(where the stars would be) you put blueberries, and for the rest of the cake you make red "stripes" out of sliced strawberries. Its easy and yummy!
