FL TOURS Rude rude rude

Went on line to check a reservation with FL TOURS there was info added to my reservation about transfers from the hotel to other sites that I had not made. I called just to make sure there wasn't a problem with the reservation and to let them know about the extra info and man was he rude. He started talking about the price being what I was quoted in an annoyed tone of voice. I hadn't even said anything about the price. He finished with a "don't worry about it" and he wasn't being friendly about it. Now I'm wondering what kind of service I'm going to get. It makes me regret calling them. :confused3
 
was a bit curt...... Now I am considering cancelling our reservation. That is why I posted wanting to know about their service. I don't like to gamble about anything on our vacation and I want to make sure we have good service......We are probably going to cancel. If someone can't have good customer service, in booking your service--that makes you wonder!!!!!!
 
Rude office staff is the reason I don't use Tiffany anymore. That's too bad, I never had a porblem with their cars or drivers.

It is at SUNRAY!!!!!! Thank-you Jen for that great referral!!!! Wow--what a nice difference to get a friendly, helpful person and by the way--their rate is $15 less than the lowest one I got--How can you beat that????? I am happy we finally found a friendly, efficient company. If their customer service dept is any reflection on the trip--Looks like it'll be great!!!!!!
 
Bob from Sunray is very reliable, nice person. You will be happy with your choice.

Glad to hear you're going with Sunray. I've never had anyone come back with a 'geeze why'd you recommend them' I've only heard 'thanks they were great!' I've had nothing short of an excellent experience for my past three trips. Clean, comfortable vehicles. Courteous, safe drivers. Seems that customer service is something they take seriously!

We used FL Tours in April to go from the airport to CR and then to Port Canaveral. Their service was prompt and courteous. If I needed a special treat I'd use them again. Used Magical Express in June and it was fine for basic transportation.

I had the same experience when I was looking for a company to use for our April 2004 trip.

I couldn't believe how rude the man on the phone was. :earseek: I've great reviews about their service and the price was right. However, the rudeness’ drove me away.

Sorry you had a bad experince with Fl Tours. We have used them several times and each time we have had good customer service.
 
We used Fl Tours last year and they were great. On 2 previous vacations arrangements had been made with 2 different agencies and on both occassions neither had shown up. One is no longer in business and the other one is. Thank goodness Mears was there for transportation to our resort. I have booked Fl Tours again for our pick for our trip on Friday. I have no complaints about them.

I called Tiffany this morning to confirm our reservation for next week. The RUDE girl on the other end of the phone put me on hold 3 times and asked me for my confirmation number each time. Finally before she could put on hold for a fourth time, I told her to just cancel my reservation. You would think with ME cutting into their business, they would focus a little more on customer service.
I then called Sunray. Talked to Bob, one of the owners. Very friendly guy. I'll let you know how it goes.

I reserved FL Tours for Friday. I haven't spoken with anyone on the phone. I sent an email shortly after I made the reservation months ago and never had a reply, but I did send an email last week saying I was having trouble with their website, and I got a reply the next day with information. Then Saturday they sent me the reminder notice that they indicated they would send. I am sorry to hear of the rudeness. The reason I booked with them was because I had read good things about them here. The fee is $99 - which is more than elsewhere, it appears, and I booked online. I'll let you know after our trip how it went with them.
 
That is too bad. I splurged on FL TOURS in May and had wonderful service. Sounds like the office people need to learn how to treat their customers. Especially when they now have ME for competition.
 
I used them in November for cruise transfers and they were 45 minutes late picking us up from our hotel. When we called after waiting ten minutes past our pick up time,we were told the pick up time they had was 30 minutes later than what ALL of my paperwork and emails from them said it was. They said the driver was almost there and would pick us up in a few minutes... yea right... another 35 minutes later he shows up! Sent them a couple of emails after I returned home three weeks ago and have received no reply at all.
They even sent me a follow up email when I got home asking me about my experience with their service and I told them what happened and hoped I would get some sort of explanation from them. I guess they have nothing to say to me. I don't think I would use them again. So much for customer service. I will let everyone here know if I ever do hear from them. All I wanted was an apology for being 45 minutes late.
 
We just got back and were pleased with the service from FL tours. The driver wasn't at the bottom of the escalators when we arrived, but maybe he was waiting in the baggage area and we missed him. Regardless, we soon found him and had no complaints about the service. The vehicle was clean, the drivers were polite, the driver coming back was there early and met us as we walked out of the hotel door thinking we would be early.
 
I too called before my date to ask a question and after being asked if I use the internet was told to email them with the question instead of answering me on the phone. Well that should have told me something wasn't right. I never received the second confirmation email just before our trip so I had to call them to be sure we were all set and we were still picked up an hour late from the airport!
 
I've been searching for the last hour for a towncar for my trip next week. I just booked Sunray based on this thread. They're not the cheapest I found but I'd rather have peace of mind than unreliable rude service or just picking somebody off google. Thanks. I'll let you know how I make out...
