Okay guys, the good, the bad and the very ugly!!!
Used DME to get to ASMusic...it was fast and easy. Bus service from Music was just okay. Hated the resort itself but that's another story. People seem to have an issue with riding buses....get on, find no seat so just stop where they are. No moving to the back of the bus for them!!! I have never seen so many bus idiots on any trip.
Buses from AoA were a bit better. Service to MK was awful. We were late for breakfast at 'Ohana because it took over 30 mins for the bus to get to AoA....then it had to off-load two ECVs and then load another two. I have no issue with those needing ECVs but it can really slow down the process for a late arriving bus. And this wasn't midday...we left our room at 8:15, for an ADR at 'Ohana at 9:45!!! Got to the bus stop (from the LM section) by 8:20, bus got there around 9ish. Got to MK around 9:20ish. The huge numbers of guests slowly ambling in front us kept us from moving quickly to the monorail...so didn't get there until about 9:30ish and on the car. So got to 'Ohana about 5 mins late.
Same thing happened when we went to 1900 Park Fare!! We were 15 mins late for that ADR. And don't go telling me how much time I need to allow for transportation. I think an hour or a bit more is more than enough time.

Now, for FL Tours. I had great serviced from them yesterday. Kenny, the driver, called me to tell me he was on the road and would be a bit early. Okay with me. He hopped out of the car, identified himself and off we went. He did apologize for not holding up his name board though. Not an issue. He was a very safe driver and very pleasant. He chatted with us about our trip and various experiences we had. He did know that I was a DIS moderator but I don't think that colored the experience. The car was nice and clean..well maintained. It was a good experience and I WILL be using them again.

We noticed the same issues with the buses when we were there. We stayed at POFQ and we always went to the back of the bus to sit. It amazed me the number of people who stayed towards the front even though there were still a couple seats in the back. And also plenty of standing room. But they all gathered towards the front to stand and seemed quite cramped.

Ick. Sounds like you had one of those trips where you actually need every bit of the 90 minutes Disney suggests for making ADRs. Not fun! And just makes me even more convinced using a taxi to get to ADRs is the way to go! No way do I want to waste 90 minutes getting to/from ADRs.

Sorry you didn't like ASMu. Except for my little room location issues there, I really like the resort as a whole.

... we were late for breakfast at 'Ohana ... we were 15 minutes late for that ADR ...
But did the restaurant staff seat you promptly, namely ahead of just all those others who physically arrived after you did and ahead of all those others whose reservations were for times after your arrival ?

... my little room location issues ...
All Star Music has on average longer walks to the food court etc. because it is narrow and deep compared with 'Sports and 'Movies which are shallow and wide.

I completely understand how Music is laid out...I've stayed there before. I had a checkin CM that really didn't much care about what I had requested. That was very disappointing.
And no, I wasn't seated immediately. I didn't check to see who was already there, or who came in after us. ADR means next available. I was late. Was the tardiness my fault? Maybe...Disney does tell us to allow 90 mins from resort to resort. But..if they also say that the buses run every 20 mins, and the boats do as well? Then, it's hard to understand why I need 90 mins to get from AoA to the Polynesian. 20 mins wait for the bus, 20 min wait for the boat (or 10 min wait the monorail), then 15 mins by boat, or by monorail? That comes to an hour, maybe. There was no reason we stood so long waiting for that bus.

I liked it when I stayed there the first time. I think the issue this time was because I have stayed at Pop so many times since then and then at AoA-LM once last Dec. The AllStars just pale in comparison. Even the CM at the concierge counter said she wished she was at AoA..it is such a beautiful resort, and how lucky I was to be able to move over there from the AllStars.
They just seem so blah now and understated.
