ANY clue when we will get the codes and any speculation as to what rates for Vaules and Moderates will be for us for the next span of time after April 16th? Thanks-- :flower:

I wouldn't hold your breath. Everything WDW has done recently has been to the exclusion of locals. I'm thinking too much big money is being made from vacationers right now. I'm sure some things will come our way but don't expect too much advance planning time to be available. As always, just my opinion.

Actually, that's not true. Just took this off of Mary's site:

Annual Passholder discounts for Walt Disney World resorts are now available for check-ins 4/17/05-7/4/05. Florida resident discounts are coming soon!

Mary always will give teasers just before codes come out. She posted about AP discounts and FL resident discounts coming soon yesterday and codes for APers are out today. So it looks like we are soon to follow. ;)

I was able to get 166 AKL Sav view for 166. It was not the ap rate...i had a discount code attached to my name....go figure. Dates May 1-4.

It seems the pin rate is better then the ap. Good luck!

What would FL rates be in comparison to AP rates?

Elise

Not true? They aren't out yet are they? And even if they soon follow the lead time is certainly shrinking.

I'll be pleased to be wrong about all this but my last four trips have been unbearably hard getting rates (many (3) planned trip dates were cancelled for lack of availablity) as opposed to how easy it used to be. Mind you, I understand Disney is doing what's good for business in their opinion, but it isn't good for FL Residents, IMO.

It seems that recently the FL resident and AP rates have been the same. Of course I would love it if the FL resident rates were better than the new AP rates, but I'll take what I can get and spend the money elsewhere at WDW!
