We first got wind of this in a survey from disney a while back...thought it would be a great deal for us if it happened...well now it's available. This, as long as it's available, will help us enjoy our membership even more. This definitely helps with stays at BLT and BCV coming up soon.

Basically it's the same as the seasonal pass (has blackout dates) and can only be used Mon-Fri. Since we live so close, going 'Home' on a Friday or Saturday night or in peak season is strictly forbidden due to the huge points difference so we can live with the restrictions. Now that we have to pay for our oldest to get in the park, we had to do a pass. Thanks Disney for this option, I'm sure you'll be able to milk even more money out of me now!

Very interesting for we Floridians. Can you post a link with the details, pricing, etc?

From the Disneyworld.com ticket store:

This pass is valid only on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Additional blackouts apply, please see more information below.

Thanks Michael! That's our next pass, for sure. DW has been wanting to go to Sea World  and Universal :scared1: anyway. This fits out next trip plans perfectly.

I'm guessing it doesn't cover parking. And who wants to pay the 14$ a pop to park? Hmmm, where will the cars go.

The current seasonal pass does not cover parking so I'm sure this one will not either. That and the blackout dates are the only other differences I can think of between the seasonal pass and AP.

It appears that it's only good for 1 year, while Florida residents can currently get a Fl Resident Seasonal Pass for 15 months.

If you're a Florida AAA member, the Weekday pass is $162.95 instead of $169. Both these figures are pre-tax.

That's not really a great deal for us. It has the same blackout dates as the regular FL res seasonal.
For us it's worth the extra $40 to be able to go on weekends. I really don't think they are going to get that many more sales with this type of pass.

Please forgive my slight hijack, but it seems like a good place to ask:

If I were to buy these for use when I attend school is Florida using my school ID, would I be able to pick them all up or would I need an ID for wife and kids too (first time considering an annual pass so I don't know how it works?).

The first question is whether you'd qualify, you'll have to meet their current criteria for yourself though a FL school ID will do that. Any adults will need their own documentation though sometimes they check and sometimes they don't, for the kids, it depends on the ages and I'm not sure what age they start checking.
