On my last trip I was able to get my friend to purchase fl resident tickets for me. I simply have her the money and she got it no problem. I've looked through te threads and it seems like it's harder to do this apparently than I thought it was for me this one instance.
Why is this the case?
It was simple enough for her to just pay for it and give them to me and get in the parks no problem.
(This wasn't my idea btw it was hers)

When was your last trip?? For years, you have had to show proof of residency to get the tickets.

It was in March so fairly recently.
She showed her Florida ID though when she purchased the ticket though.
At park entrance however I wasn't asked for ID when I used it.

Are you a Florida Resident?

Nevermind-read some of your other threads.......

Any time I've ever purchased an FL resident ticket, you have to have some proof of residency for the person that's going to use it.

Did you friend also have a ticket for herself when she bought yours? I've always had to show ID. once my girls turn 18 they had to start showing theirs too.

I'm a FL resident. I've always had to show ID when purchasing the tickets, but not when you actually use them through the gate.

Right I never got ID'd at the park entrance so I don't see why I wouldn't be able to do it again.

There have been instances when I've used my FL resident ticket for the first time and been asked - at the gate - to show my FL ID.

I'm surprised that your friend was able to buy the other ticket for you using her information. I would think that when the info was entered, it would automatically link to her AP and a red flag would go up.
