FL resident discount for part of trip? Questions!

I'm hoping someone can give me some insight. My mil is a FL resident. We are planning on picking her up and taking her with us for part of our trip. I am trying to figure out how the discounts will work for us. We will be traveling from 8/10 to 8/20. We are planning on having mil with us during the time period when the FL resident room only discount is going on. If mil is with us can we get the FL resident discount? Would we need to book the rooms under her name? Can she book more than 1 room? MIL does not drive so has no FL drivers license. I'm wondering what else she can use. I need to see if she has some sort of FL id card.

I'm assuming once we take her home and go down to 1 room we would lose the discount? The late summer discount kicks in part way through the trip so we can use it as well.

If we are using all these different discounts will we have different reservations or will they all be linked. What I do not want to have to do is move rooms!!!

She will need to be the one that makes the reservation and/or she needs to be the primary on the reservation. Here is a link to the I.D. requirements.

If you're in between discounts, you can stay in the same room if you make a different reservation (with or without MIL's discount). All they will do is tie them together and list it as a continuing reservation. This will help you stay in the same room, however it's not guaranteed that you will keep the same room as the resort may ask you to change rooms based on category class booked (i.e. you're upgraded automatically to preferred and/or you book 1st ressie preferred and second ressie standard view).
