I use my Florida driver's license, even though it doesn't have a Florida address on it. What I was told by the CM was that a Florida ID must have a Florida address on it to qualify, but that my Florida DL was good enough since I'm military, and since my legal address is in Florida.
I don't know much about Ocala. I just drove through it while going back and forth between home and college. There's not much there, hence it's nickname mentioned above. There's a half-way decent mall. There are parts that are very rural. There is a national forest that is pretty neat. Beyond that, I'm not really sure. I don't know of any big businesses that are located there. It's pretty much smack dab in middle of north central Florida so it is extremely humid in the summer. Not really convenient to many things. It's not one of the places I would pick to live, but then I didn't pick where I am, yet here I am. If you have kids, I would HIGHLY recommend private school. The things I do like about where I live is being by the ocean and I get the ocean breezes so humidity is not that bad, I am close to WDW, things like that. This state is too dependant on Tourism dollars so I see things tanking even worse in the future.
