FL residence rate

I use my Florida driver's license, even though it doesn't have a Florida address on it. What I was told by the CM was that a Florida ID must have a Florida address on it to qualify, but that my Florida DL was good enough since I'm military, and since my legal address is in Florida.

Miss Jasmine,

Have you ever heard anything about the Ocala area. I know schools aren't good in Florida, but in checking some web sites some seem to be better than others. Is it the weather that bothers you so much. We were thinking of moving in a year to Florida. What other things are off.

Ahhhh Slowcala. ;) I don't know much about Ocala. I just drove through it while going back and forth between home and college. There's not much there, hence it's nickname mentioned above. There's a half-way decent mall. There are parts that are very rural. There is a national forest that is pretty neat. Beyond that, I'm not really sure. I don't know of any big businesses that are located there. It's pretty much smack dab in middle of north central Florida so it is extremely humid in the summer. Not really convenient to many things. It's not one of the places I would pick to live, but then I didn't pick where I am, yet here I am. If you have kids, I would HIGHLY recommend private school. The things I do like about where I live is being by the ocean and I get the ocean breezes so humidity is not that bad, I am close to WDW, things like that. This state is too dependant on Tourism dollars so I see things tanking even worse in the future. :(

Yeah I did hear that it is dependent on tourism. Which right now and probably future sucks. I live in Colorado and am a state employee and they are now asking us to take 3 days of furlough to balance the state budget by May 31st and then in the new fiscal year more furloughs. I guess a lot of places are hurting. Thanks for the tip about private school. Never thought of living by the ocean, but breezes sure would help. Would you prefer East to the West coast?

I've heard the west coast doesn't get the breezes that the east coast does. More humid over there.
