FJ "Chicken Exit"

I just watched FJ on YouTube being that we will be at Universal Studios for the first time this weekend, and I get very motion sick on certain rides. After viewing, I realized that this won't be a good ride for me, but the queue looks interesting. Is there a "chicken exit" where I can get out before boarding for the ride?

yes, you can exit before boarding the ride.

Yup - the exit is to your left as you get to the front of the line. If you're there with friends, you could hop into the child swap room an watch a bit of the movie while you wait.

Sorry, but PPs are incorrect. After you pass the Sorting Hat, there are a group of goons lying in wait to ensure you get on the enchanted bench and enjoy your experience. Do not fear, they are only TMs dressed as Death Eaters or Dementors--not the actual beings. In the morning they're Death Eaters and Dementors in the afternoon but I may have that backwards.

Or not.

I know of no attraction anywhere where they force you to ride once you enter the loading area.

If nobody in your party wants to ride, you can do the castle tour which lets you dilly dally as long as you want.
