Fitness Room at Wilderness Lodge

We are DVC members but will be staying in our motorhome at Fort Wilderness in a few days. We are not using points for this reservation, but we were wondering if we would be able to use the fitness room at the Wilderness Lodge. We will have our membership cards with us, but obviously our room key will not say DVC member on it. Does anyone know if we will be able to use it?

I think that perk is similar to pool hopping. You must be staying on points at a DVC resort in order to use the fitness centers.

1) Branches is free to anyone at WL or VWL (cash, points, whatever).
2) There is a charge for anyone from other resorts (FW, included).
3) The CM's might let you in for free with the membership card.

Considering the FtW bus/Boat ride and/or walk just to get to Sturdy branches I think you'll have had your workout before you even arrive

They'll let you in unless the place is jammed with folk (shouldn't be an issue as I have never seen it with more than 3 people at a time), but as stated there is a fee for non-resort guests.

It is such a nice walk early in the morning. I did it a few time some years back and saw several deer in the woods along the trail.
