Hello all,
I'm going on the Disney Dream next month, I workout daily and can't go 4 days without my fix!
I plan on running the Castaway Cay 5K but I'm wondering if anyone has taken any of the fitness classes on board?

From my research there is a spinning class, BodyBlast, Yoga and Pilates. Anyone taken one of these classes and if so how would you rate the experience?

A co-worker who is a frequent cruiser tells me she avoids using the gyms on board because the trainers bother her during her workout trying to push private sessions and supplements. Does this happen on the DCL? Or will I be left alone to enjoy that glorious view!

Thank you :yay:

I have used the gyms on all 4 ships and I usually work out each morning on our cruises. I've never had a trainer bother me during a personal workout or one of the group classes with any kind of sales pitch for personal training or products. As a matter of fact I've never had it happen on any other cruise line either and I've sailed most of the mainstream lines.

Enjoy your cruise and your workouts. :)

I have also worked out in the gym and not been bothered by trainers. I took the yoga class one morning and it was nice. You might also enjoy runs or walks around deck 4. I did that several mornings on the Fantasy and loved it.

Deck 4 has a walking / running track circling the outside of the ships except for forward and aft (where you are inside).

And there's the Never take the Elevator rule ... you can get a lot of stairs in by just ... well .. taking the stairs.

On the Dream I used the running track and also used the equipment in the fitness center.

On the Magic I did a spinning class and loved it! No sales pitch that I recall.
