I'm glad I saw this post, because I was actually just thinking about this the other day. I have two Fitbits, so maybe I'll wear the clip on one on this trip.
I was told by a Photopass Photographer that if they are worn on the same arm, it could interfere with their scanning device when they are scanning your magic band. This was a year ago
On our May trip I wore my charge and 2 magicbands on the same arm. (Wearing 2 since my youngest always takes her off and it was easier). No problems. Tried different arms but couldn't get use to it.
Add me to the list of wearing one on each arm... and constantly scanning my FitBit at the tapstyles instead of my MB. I also always try to scan my YMCA card at CVS so I think it's probably me
Some Photographers tell me that they CAN interfere with each other when worn on the same arm, or more specifcally that the reader they use to scan your MB can get messed up by the fitbit.
I wear my fitbit on my left arm, and my MB on my right sometimes , bu it's awkward for me to scan my MB and do the finger scan with my right hand when my MB is on my right arm. So most of the time lately I have been wearing my MB puck in the magic keeper on my lanyard. I'm much happier that way.
On most rides there are two of them next to each other, one on the right and one on the left, so that two people can scan at the same time. You can use either.
