Fit in February Exercise Challenge!

43 minutes for me yoga and a bit of strenght training.

Favorite warm weather exercise- I think I'll go with hiking. There's just something about climbing a mountain and enjoying the view from the top that is satisfying to my soul.
 
I got in another 20 minutes walk last night and I ended with 16,909 steps
This morning I walked on the treadmill for 20 minutes and then I did 30 minutes of strength training.

My favorite warm weather exercise is still walking- but walking outside :) I like to go on nature walks at one of our local Nature Centers (Sugar Creek Nature Center at Funk's Grove- it is great! ) and walk on our great trail that we have here in Bloomington/Normal (Constitution Trail). I also like to take a ride on my bicycle. Can't wait for it to warm up!

This is by far the worst winter I've ever experienced in all my 47 years in western NY BUT I guess that means when the temp hits 40 degrees it will feel like summer!! My favorite outdoor sport is hiking at the beach or the Genessee river trail. I can only get the family to join me for a hike on Mother's Day. They do it with sad faces but they do it just for me :)
 
18 degrees and a little windy today on Long Island. Yesterday, we had some more snow, but then some real sunshine! Think it got up to 28 degrees!
Anyhoo, got out to the Gym and Physical therapy, and worked my knee more than usual. The snafu about my insurance is resolved, so now I can do Aquatic therapy and Land therapy again.

Adding 90 more minutes since last posting.

30 min run Tuesday. Now I'm in taper till Saturday, unless I get to count walking in the parks the Thursday and Friday. :jumping1:

35 minutes of abs today, its such a great workout even if it's super intense with barely any time for a quick water break.

MRS AR- are you running the princess weekend? If so- good luck and have fun and enjoy the cooler temps! I am so jealous as last years princess was above 70 and 100% humidity and made me swear off running in Florida for at least a year!
