Fit in February Exercise Challenge!

235/1000. Tomorrow is an off day, it's also my birthday and I'll be breaking my diet big time because we're going to the Cheesecake Factory :teeth:

:bday: galaxygirl76!

I'm in again. Don't know if I'll make goal (doesn't really matter!), especially since I haven't made it the last 2 months. Maybe third time's the charm?! :o
I fell off the planet when we had a crisis last month :crutches:with DS18 and I am still reeling. :sad1: Boys and girls, kiss your kids. Tell them how precious they are. :love1: Hoping to get back on schedule now that things are a bit more stable! Keep up the good work everybody!

375/1500

Sending you oodles of  and pixiedust: , Linda. I'm glad your DS is okay.

You're welcome... :) What half are you signed up for?

The Coeur d'Alene Marathon Half -- it's a local race. I'm still deciding if I will sign up for another local race two weeks later and become a Half Fanatic in honor of my 55th birthday this year.

Lunch break walk today. I think that when you walk and it's 5 degrees or below, your minutes should count double. :) (but for the record I didn't do that)

ITA! Also if it is raining or snowing -- surely you burn some extra calories when you do that. ::yes::

90 minutes run/walk which brings me to 210/840.

I think I'm getting the hang of posting with the new board format. :rotfl:

25 minutes walking
15 minutes between the rowing machine and medicine ball crunches

295/840

Happy Birthday, @galaxygirl76!

23 minutes Pilates for me today ... would have done a little more, but for some reason my body was fighting me the whole time, and I just gave up on fighting back. Oh well, I guess today is just not my day.

262/1000

Good news is, that 23 minutes put me over 25% ... so I seem to be on track to meet goal!

45 minutes running and 30 minutes cross training today. I agree with the extra minutes for exercise in single digit temps. It was a balmy 30 when I was out!

238/1000

Finally found some time to exercise and was able to go outside for a 60 minute walk.

60 min for me today some cross training and yoga, p90x3.

I meant to join this thread a week ago! I was having issues with the new format on my phone and then I forgot - my bad. If it's not too late I would like to join in. I'm going for 1260 this month and so far I'm off to a pretty good start

Mon - 120
Tues - 90
Wed - 30
Thurs - 30
Fri - big fat zero!

270/1260

I'm off to the slowest start ever.

I'm getting off to a slow start this month.

I too am off to a slow start, but I guess a slow start is better than no start, right?

Slow start > no start > not setting any goals! :)

:bday: Hope you had a great day!

I'm glad things are more stable now. Thank you for the reminder - too often we take our loved ones for granted. :grouphug:

No new exercises to post yet - I'm going out in a bit to get more running in. This will be my last long (>8 mile) run before my event. Good luck today, everyone, and have a great day!

78 minute walk/run today ... not as slippery as last week, but there was still plenty of ice out there. I can't wait for all that ice to melt!

340/1000

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes, I had a great day with great food and a fun movie at the theater(Big Hero 6)

325/1000. Back on track

Hi, going to step it up this month as I didn't meet my goal last month!

Please put me down for 700 minutes.

Secondary goal is 10,000 steps per day.

Day 1:
50 minutes

Day 1: 50 minutes/10,452 steps
Day 2: 47 minutes/10,262 steps
Day 3: 54 minutes/10,363 steps
Day 4: 36 minutes/10,275 steps
Day 5: 15 minutes/5,673 steps
Day 6: 12 minutes/5,582 steps
Day 7: 0 minutes/4,192 steps

Total: 214 minutes/700 minutes

Lesson learned from last week --- get more steps throughout the day or right after work. I have a desk job and don't move around much during the day. Last week I got most of my steps done in the evenings and sometimes that meant jumping on the treadmill after 9 PM. When I was done I was so wired, I didn't go to bed until midnight each night. As you can see this wasn't sustainable as I started to get really tired at the end of the week. Do better for this week is to do more in the mornings and during the day at work and walk right after work instead of waiting unit late.

Wow, you are doing amazing! I agree on getting more done earlier. Good luck this week!

Went for a long run outside today.

144 minutes
Puts me at 382/1000

strength training and I'm feeling those keetlebell squats today.

98/800

I hear you about the desk job. Some days it feels like I don't get much further than the bathroom or the photo copier which are both about 20 feet down the hall from my desk. I need to do much better at getting the minutes in when I can.
