Are there any inexpensive fishing to be done in or near disney? My 5 year old really wants to try fishing.

There is can pole fishing at Port Orleans Riverside. Strictly catch and release in a stick river. It cost $4.26 a half hour or $13.32 a half hour for up to 6 people. I found it on this website. I have never done it but it caught my eye because we want to stay here and my boys love fishing!:fish:

Port Orleans has already been mentioned...the Disney Fishing Trips are very good for folks, but a little expensive...However, the guides have been Excellent with kids:thumbsup2 I think you can cane pole fish at Fort Wilderness too, but I might be wrong about that.

I'd recommend starting with the cane pole fishing at Port Orleans Riverside...I usually wet a line there on some downtime, and caught a NICE bluegill out of there!!! That way when/if he gets bored you can go do other stuff!!

---my wife forbids me to bring the bass boat on vacation, even though there's world class bass lakes nearby...LOL

Good luck and good fishin':goodvibes
