Where can I go fishing for a few hours at Disney? Can I rent equipment? Do you go out on a boat or fish off a pier or the bank of the lake?

It was great. Left from VWL. 2 hours and about 20 nice Bass. I think it was up to 5 for $240 or so.

I have fished at BWV through Disney times with my kids. Around $250 for a couple of hours. I have been during different times of the year and I will tell you that if you have kids it is worth EVERY penny. I would say the average size largemouth has been in the 2 - 3 lb range and my son last year caught a 5. 1/2 lb largemouth.

What a "Wonderful" experience....

Pricy..but..A must do for us on all future trips....tons of nice largemouth bass :cool1:

I've been thinking for a couple years of signing hubby and son up for this -

What do you do with the fish after you catch them??

Is it catch and release??

or???

Catch, picture, release-repeat. :fish:

DS5 went out fishing at OKW with some castmembers in October... I want to say that it was $30 for a one hour... He caught a sunfish and loved every minute of it..

Yes ...there is a "special" kids fishing trip offered too. Only kids and cm's on the boat and I believe it leaves from OKW. Someone will correct me if I am wrong..

DH has done the fishing trip our last three times. We always travel with groups of friends and family so he always coordinates a "guy" fishing morning. He and the guys always have a great time and he always looks forward to it. :) He has had groups picked up at BCV, BWV & VWL. Enjoy!

We're scheduled to go for the next trip. My father and my nephew (locals) are planning to join us (boat seats 5). We're going to be picked up at the SSR dock.
