Fishing with my son

My family is going to be in Orlando the 3rd week of October. We are staying in a townhouse at Windsor Hills. On one of our days off, I'd like to take my 5yo son to one of the Disney resorts to do some "off the dock" fishing (i.e. no boat rental). I assume we can do this even if we are not staying at the resort.

What Disney resorts offer this? Which are the best? How much is rental for a rod/reel typically? What about bait?

He's never been fishing before, so I'd like to keep it simple, but fun. Thanks.

My DH tried to do this on our last trip at Wilderness Lodge. I would suggest you contact Wilderness Lodge and talk to a cast member. My DH was easily frustrated when he tried to just go do it. It seems like they needed a reservation and maybe a boat? Good luck!
