Fishing in Florida

Hi folks,
My DH and BIL would like a days fishing when we go in June. My DH has been in July and said the fishing was ok apart from algae (or something like that...I kind of switch off when he talks about fishing! )

Does anyone know where the best place to go fishing is and who to book this with?

Do you mean in Orlando, or Florida generally?

DH spends a lot of time fishing when we go out there , but mostly outside of Orlando. In Orlando he confines his trips to lakeside, and does his own thing, not an organised trip. He's chartered a few different outfits on the Gulf Coast and in the Keys, so let me know if you want me to find any info on those.

Hi,
Sorry my post wasn't very clear...I meant in Florida in general. Last time he went fishing it was to Clearwater which was organised by our Virgin rep. He usually does fly fishing but isn't bothered if it's that or sea-fishing.

I've not been but hope to next trip as we are not taking the kids.

I'm also into Fly fishing and there is some great fishing to be had on the back waters. It would be worth going into The Bass Pro shop at Festival Bay as they would be able to point you in the right direction and they have a crackin fly fishing department.

Could you let me know how your DH gets on ????
