Fishing Fundamentals at Vero?

Anyone ever do the Fishing Fundamentals course at Vero? My 11 and 9 year olds enjoy fishing. 11 yr old is able to put live bait on recently. They haven't done a ton of it but do have some experience. Wondering if the session would be too basic? Do the kids go with the instructor alone or can parents go too?

Also, if the course is too basic can we bring our gear and just fish across the street in the lake area?
